Beta Testing Pointers

Hello and Welcome to RNX 0.9 Beta!

This is a quick overview of what you can expect, what we'd like to focus on, and how this is going to work.

What are we checking?

Racket: Nx is launching in mid July. After several months in Early Access, this Beta is our final round of content and polish.

We've remade all the levels in the game, re-organized them and added a bunch of mechanisms such as Powerups.

Our foremost goal for this Beta is to test and tune the difficulty curve of the game - we want it gradual yet challenging.

In addition, it's time to find and squash bugs that might have evaded us thus far.

Keep in mind that we're at a point where our feature list is closed, so as much as we'd like it, we're not currently looking for new feature ideas.

How is this going to work?

We're hoping you guys can give a few hours of play over the next couple of weeks.

We'll be collecting gameplay data - when you finish a level, how many attempts it took, what Waves pose the most difficulty, etc.

But we'd also like to get direct feedback from you.

What do you like the most?

What frustrates you?

What mechanisms took you a while to get?

What bugs have you encountered?

So please feel free to write us your unsolicited thoughts on Discord (haven't joined yet? What are you waiting for!).

What's not in the Beta

There are a few things we are still working on.

Some of the Powerup effects are unfinished and we're missing a bunch of announcer lines.

The star ratings for Solo Sets completion times are arbitrary, we're waiting for data to configure those.

But most noticeably, the Multiplayer is currently disabled. We hope to open it up very soon with an update.

Thanks a lot to everyone participating!

We really appreciate it <3
